About
I'm Emanuele Vinci, a freelance app developer. I was born in Milan and I've lived near Verona for years, where I work and teach.
Since 2020 I've designed and built native and web apps with Flutter for companies and professionals, following every stage: from the idea to the architecture, from development to publishing on the stores. I've worked on very different products — from banking, where I recently led the frontend team handling architecture and code review, to delivery apps with payments and notifications, parking reservation with a built-in navigator, management systems for medical practices, and tools for post-operative clinical tests.
Every project has different needs, but the goal is always the same: building apps that are solid, well-crafted and easy to maintain over time. The work I've done is covered by non-disclosure agreements; an interactive demo, for illustration only, is available here: lord-platypus.github.io/portfolio
Alongside development there's teaching, the part of my work I care about most: I teach how to build apps from scratch, taking nothing for granted. I also co-founded Game Dev Arena, through which I take part in the local game-development community and its events. I enjoy building products as much as teaching others to build them.
